Having landed a few carp on spinning tackle and bait casting tackle I can imagine the fun you had landing that one on a fly rod, wow, must have been a blast. Give us the facts on rod/reel, fly and how long it took to land that nice looking carp. Take care and just keep on keeping on, John.

no.  I used a 5 wt.
