Right Handed Gills, Gill Fest 2012 continues.
« on: May 13, 2012, 06:24:35 AM »
I have been noticing that the majority of my bluegill are hooked in right side of mouth. Of 30 in 30 casts yesterday only 2 were hooked on left side.  And they are starting to really heat up clearing water on strike and getting hooked in eye socket.

Ok pix from Friday and Saturday at Gill Fest pond.

Friday with VGL....

Saturday it was cloudy and tstorm passed just west and gills were hitting anywhere the spydie landed.

Not sure what is going on today yet...

The hook in the spydie must be lying off to the right, the other two are the odd ones out ;D
