Dan;s Dandy
« on: February 20, 2012, 08:23:40 AM »
I purchased a 3-4 wt Bamboo that was labeled a "Dan's Dandy."  It was a cheap "production rod" but I really liked the way it cast. It had only one tip which I managed to break.  Anyone out there have one of these rods or know where I can get a tip for it?

First, think about how much it's worth to you.
did you keep the broken tip? - needed for measurements.

Dennis Stone may be able to make a scarf repair for $50 (plus shipping)
If necessary, he will make a new tip for $100 (his tips are awesome and may improve your rod).

btw, I tried searching the name on Clark's board, and got no matches.
Do you have photos of the rod?  Esp, reel seat, wraps and ferrules?  Curious, is all.
