Just started tying this pattern as recommended on another forum. A couple of other options are to use eyelash yarn instead of traditional chenille and hackle. I and others have also had great luck by hooking the foam about 1/4" from the end, sliding it to the eye over a thread/marabou base, laying a bead of super glue along the thread base on top, then laying the foam down and securing it back to the bend. Add chenille, yarn, whatever, pull foam up over the top and tie for upper lip, then trim or fold back. Upper and bottom lips make one heck of an action for bass and sunfish.
