All I'm going to say is that I had to pry it out of Jerry's hands to get to cast the rod...
Both the rod and the reel are impressive. It is a smooth casting rod. I've found some of the super light rods to be a little tempermental to cast well, but this one was a joy to cast.
The reel was a pleasent surprise. It is a really nice light weight reel. It is a scaled down version of the larger BVK reels and if you're looking for a well made tiny reel, this one will be worth considering.

Sounds neat. I am wanting a rod combo you have to have on weighted leash to keep it from floating away in air.

Rumor has it that they will have a Helium filled rod soon, Blu, so start saving your money. If you have the leash tied to your kayak and it is just the right length, you won't need any rod holders, just let go of the rod after you land a fish, and it will be at the perfect casting spot when you get ready to fish again.

Saw a prototype @ the Lancaster show over the weekend. It's a beautiful little rod, but unfortunately I didn't get to cast it. I did get to cast Bob's personal 8wt clouser. ;D
