Anybody out there?
« on: July 22, 2011, 12:08:57 PM »
I realize the horrendous problems that this years flooding have caused, but we all need to recreate a little!  I haven't seen any new activity on the forum, website, etc.  Just checking.

Nearly everything I own is stored in one of three places around Bismarck.  We packed everything so quickly and moved it so quickly with the help of a lot of friends that things didn't get labeled and I have no idea where things reside. I did find my rods, reels and some flies and did hit McDowell one night a couple weeks ago from the bank.  But I can't find waders or wading shoes and a few other key pieces of gear.

Likely won't fish for sometime, at least until we start moving back in and I can find things and that won't happen until the river is below flood stage.  Hope others are getting out this summer and would like to get reports and pictures.

Rick,
If I have anything you could use to get out there and relax a bit, please feel free to ask.  Same goes to anyone else in the club with similar problems.

Thanks Craig.  I really appreciate your kind offer.  The critical pieces of gear I am lacking are my waders and wading shoes.  They are in a plastic tub in one of the three different places I have almost everything I own stored.  Unfortunately, I packed lots of stuff in plastic tubs, none of them got labeled in the rush to pack, and I can't locate the wader tub.  It is likely behind or underneath a whole pile of other things, not to be seen until the entire storage units are cleared out.  Oh well, when the darn river gets below flood stage I'll move everything back and find them eventually.
