Hey guys,
Glad that you have a forum on here.  As you know, Larry has provided us this site to use as a forum, instead of having to maintain a forum on our web site.  When I re-did the Shreveport club's website, I just linked to here for our forum, and it has worked very well.  Since a local club usually has very few post, compared to this national board, the traffic flow is better, the subject matter gets more input from national members, and we can keep local news and matters on our little section of the board.

I met two of your members up in Mountain Home the last weekend in January, and really enjoyed talking to them.  I fished the Cane River out of my yak about 2 months ago, but the wind was really howling, and it was cold.  I am about ready to drive down again.  If any of you are ever in Shreveport on a third Tuesday, check out www.northlaflyfishers.org for our scheduled speaker.  We have the Texas A&M expert on Giant Salvinia speaking next week.  Meeting time and place is on the web site.

Thanks CCFC, for a great time at your Mini Expo at the Green Market festival on Cane River.  Really enjoyed visiting with the local folks about fly fishing.  There is certainly plenty of potential for club growth in Natchitoches, Louisiana.  As soon as we get some water in the river.....it'll be time to have a fly tournament there.   Especially since Catch has gotten the perfect definition of a 'fly'. 
I had a great time.  It was great seeing some old friends again. You have a great event to build on. 
The CCFC caps are beautiful, thanks.

Had a great time.  Its good to know there are so many fly fishers in this area.  Also a great place to have an event.
