I'm still holding out for a nice, inexpensive Fenwick or Berkley rod to see if the glass bug has truly bitten me. I've seen Fenwicks where the reel seat is all metal or a combination of cork and metal. Does this tell me anything about the quality, vintage, etc. of the rod?
